 Shutdown Movie 2.2 - Shutdown Movie is the previously unimplemented
companion to QuickTime's built-in Startup Movie feature. When installed,
Shutdown Movie plays a movie when you Shutdown and/or Restart your system.
Shutdown Movie requires System 7 or greater, and QuickTime. Version 2.2 -
Fixed a major bug that either caused movies not to play or to play without
sound. Fixed a bug which caused crashes with the Apple Installer.

 FlipBookMaker 1.1 - FlipBookMaker is a fun utility that creates printed
books from QuickTime movies. Simply open a QuickTime movie, and choose
print, and a flip book will automatically be printed. Each frame of the
movie is sent to a separate piece of paper (which can add up to a lot of
paper!). Then, all you have to do, is cut out the box on each page, staple
them together and voila - an old fashioned flip book! You can also use a
unique feature called "Skip Frame" that lets you skip several frames of a
movie to make the printed book smaller.

 MooVer 1.0 - MooVer is a System 7-only drag-n-drop application. It requires

QuickTime movie from a sequence of Macintosh PICT data files dropped on it.
You can optionally "add subtitles" under each image frame. In this case,
MooVer will subtitle each frame. It will either use the name of each PICT
file, or, if there is a special "subtitle" text file in the same folder as
the PICT files, MooVer will use each text line from this file for the
subtitles instead. The display size of the movie frame is determined by the
size of the first image dropped in. All successive images, no matter what
size they are, will be resized (scaled, not cropped) to fit the first.

 CreditMaker 0.b7 - CreditMaker is basically for creating little QuickTime
movies that are scrolling credits. You take and combine these movies with
your QuickTime movies and viola, you have a way to put rolling credits at
the end. To create your credits, first create a text file with your credits
(TextEdit works nicely for this). Then open CreditMaker. You can change
things like the font, font style and color and other stuff. Then choose
Make Credits... from the file menu. First it asks you for the name of the
final Credits movie, then it asks you to find the text file with your
credits. Viola, that's it, the program will create the files from there.
Simple and fun! Fixed habit of ignoring color on 16 bit color devices.

 3-D QT ViewMaster 1.31 - Have you seen people staring at posters of
"multicolored nothing" hoping to see an image? They're called stare-e-os™
and the method of viewing 3-D QuickTime is similar. With stare-e-os you
look past the poster (but focus on it) so that the left and right eyes are
looking at different points on the poster. Using the stare-e-o method on
the computer is difficult, but luckily, useful instructions are included.
3-D QuickTime only works for video clips of unchanging scenery where the
camera is tracking from side to side. Read the instructions for help!

 PICTs to Movie - This is a freeware application (actually it's "workware";
please see the opening credits) which will make a QuickTime movie out of a
numbered set of PICTs. I did not write this program; I downloaded it from
the great Sumex machine at Stanford. There is no documentation to go along
with it, but to use it properly all you need to do is have a series of
PICTs which are numbered (e.g., "Picture1", "Picture2", "Picture3", etc.)
and specify how many you want to be incorporated into the movie when
prompted. Quite easy, but the interface is a bit counter-intuitive. You
might need to experiment a few times before getting the hang of it.

 Moovtopics - Here's a sample routine that converts any QuickTime movie to
a PICS animation file.  This was an execrise in learning how to use
QuickTime's GetNextMovieInterestingTime() function to find the next actual
frame in a movie.  It saves each frame out to a PICS file that can be
played in Director, SuperCard, and other applications.  There is *ZERO*
error checking in this source.  You'll want to integrate your favorite
exception handling stuff.  It also doesn't do any bit depth conversions,
because I really hate GWorlds.
